The few days I spent here were a mix of ancient culture, history and the locals are a joy to visit with warm smiles and a good sense of humor.
(They exude a community and resilience that’s a pleasure to see in the wake of recent tragedies in the country.)

Yes, Siem Reap, Cambodia! It’s fabulous!! Highly recommend visiting.
I only saw Phnom Penh (great people, lots of history – both cultural and anthropological).
Then took the 6 hour river boat up the Mekhong River to Siem Reap.

Do it Bobbie! The people are friendly. It’s relaxed but still historic. Just lovely. And I hear there’s a lot more to explore than what I had time to see.
