A new day, a new view out my window.
Two days ago I departed Guam…with a lesson learned…always have an Onward Flight when visiting a foreign country!
14 hours by car/plane/shuttle//bus/taxi and finally a nighttime ferry in rain and high winds, I arrived here late at night and woke up to a bird outside my window saying, “morning, morning” and this view.
My travels to Hippocampus Beach Resort (named after the Seahorse, not the Brain region) took me by these sightings:
The green hills of Cebu . . .
This morning I jumped on a dive boat at 4:30AM! to see Thresher Sharks at their sunrise cleaning stations. I swear one swam directly toward us . . . I believe hoping for assistance to remove what appeared to be fishing line on it’s dorsal fin. You’ll see it on the upcoming video. Poor fella’.
Where am I?

Feliz navidad! Getting ready to enjoy the sunset at the Floating Bar
after a day diving in scary high seas. You were right, it’s gorgeous here and the people are super friendly and it always seems to be pleasant, sunny and no wind in the late afternoon.
